Cleaning Tall Tanks - Acrylic

Hey All -

I have some stubborn green algae at the bottom of a 3ft tall acrylic tank.

I've been trying to get at it with a Kent Pro Scraper (w/ the acrylic safe blade,) but it doesn't seem to be working and I'm afraid I'm starting to scratch the acrylic.

So.. what scrapers to you tall talk owners recommend that would be up to the task?

I'm told the mighty magnets with their algae scrapper works very well, never tried it though.
