When you guys clean your powerheads and pumps is it ok to soak them in vinegar or bleach or what ever for a long time. Or is there something better. I just think those are some pretty harsh cemicals and i dont know if there are seals or o-rings that will rott out. Thanks guys.

Vinegar is ok. I run my skimmer once a year or so in a 1/2 vinegar 1/2 water bath for 24 hours.

Agreed. Vinegar is great for all cleaning of pumps.
