Cleanup Crew Time

I did a full battery of tests on my newly cycled 75g today and it went 0/0/15 and ph 8.1. I've had 110lbs of pre-cured rock and 15lb of cured rock in there since last week. Is safe enough to put a clean up crew in, for some reason I don't think the tank is stable enough, but I don't know what to do.

If in doubt... wait.

You could probably add the crew, but another week of stable parameters wouldn't hurt.

Wait another X amount of days...Test for 5 consecutive days, once all test come clean do a water change then add a small ( TINY ) clean up crew if everything is ok for a couple of days add the rest...make sure there is enough algae for the clean up crew..

Just my 2 pennies

whoa only a week wait a couple of more weeks just to make sure...cycles usually take 3 to 6 weeks...keep up on those water changes

TRUE TO THAT

Will the rock be able to fuel the cycle or should I throw a cocktail shrimp in there. I do know that there not enough algae in the tank for a crew. I have found some green hair algae on a rock so far though

Hell, I set up a 65g Eco System with 65Lbs of LR with refug and all...and put live stock in under a week. Of course we use off shore water here in SoFla so water panels were excellent before I introduced.

Everyone and everything is doing just great.

Still to a 3 week 20% water change out using real SoFla ocean water (only at peak hi tide of course) and couldn't ask for a better performing tank...thank God

I've got some lights running about 12 hours right now. I'm still deciding on the final light setup. I'll probably do a water change this weekend and see what happens.
