clear slime

i have a 10g tank and a 29g tank in my 10g tank i have this problem with this clear slime, it almost looks like snot. its growing on the glass, i have tried to siphon it out but i just came back. all the corals are doing fine, i just dont like the look of it. there is no problems in my 29g tank and i do the same thing for both tanks.

Hey jarred ive had the same issue for about 3 months mine is bacteria.I felt i was at a loss until i read coral mag article on reef slime and what they treated it with.Im currently treating Dr.Tims REFRESH and WASTE AWAY and its seems to be doing the trick as for in the long run well see.

i heard it was from alcohol in there air so i aired my house out and that night it was all gone!

thats awesome you dont want it to get any worse i clog protein skimmers and filter socks in a day,mines terrible.Well Good luck with your tank
