Hi,
I recently learned of some misunderstandings floating around about my shop from a customer who heard it in another shop recently. I apologize in advance to any moderators if I am going over the lines here.
1. We do not sell saltwater from our display tanks. That was discussed on another thread and I made it fairly clear it was not my shop. I will show anyone who wishes my entire plumbing system if they ask. I am improving that system but even under Tim the water was mixed fresh daily.
2. I am not selling corals at cost because my system crashed, in fact it's brand new with one more system left to get up and running.
I am transshipping to bring cheaper prices to the Tucson market and eventually to go online with my store. The discount is only to get the volume up to help pay for the shipment and the re-model. My mark up has remained the same % all along. I just pass on my savings to everyone instead of charging what I would have to if I used the LA wholesalers. I still buy from them, but I get bulk orders from overseas to be able to offer good deals on certain items.
The corals some people saw me medicating were sick due to sitting at the airport for too long(took well over an hour to get from the plane to the loading zone), and several boxes overheated. They have recovered fairly well thanks to the help of Olin and Anna who assisted in medicated the corals. They should be out of QT tonight.
