Closed Colt Coral

I recently put one of these corals back into my 120g tank because i missed keeping one. I have kept one before in my 30g but this one will not expand nearly as much as it did at my work and sometimes it barley expands at all.. I'm puzzled because i have sps, lps, gorgonians, leather corals, anemones, you name it and this is the only coral besides one of my sps corals that is not happy in my tank... Im thinking it might be getting to much flow its is medium bulk water flow with no powerheads pointed at it and it gently moves in the current... any ideas thank you.

IMO, Colt Corals thrive on phosphates, your tank may be too clean.

It might be too much flow but i had the same issue i thought the same i ended up moving him and moving him until i lost him. Good luck
