Closed Loop Gurus help needed

Plans for new house being built and my new tank have been pushed back/delayed about a yr since extra budget is going to daughters college bill at EKU this fall. Well worth it going to that for the time being...Plan on possibly having this tank as well as the new 180/210 in the next house. Plans were designed/changed for the house to accommodate the large tank in the wall in the living room. So how I set 90 up now will also be how it will stay later if used most likely

It leaves me with my 90g reef now that I have been slowly switching to mainly SPS and some LPS and moving all my softies to a smaller tank.
The more and more I read about closed loops the more confused I seem to be getting. The concept of it is a no brainer but the equipment choices is a mirage of options.

I have the following and want to see if its possible to use and ideas for what I might need.
*90g AGA RR tank. Plan on breaking down to redo the rock work so it will be able to be empty and be drilled. Its tempered bottom so all holes in the back.
* Bulkheads- I have a 1 1/2" bulkhead for pump supply and 4-1" return bulkheads. Hope to use these sizes since I have them. Hoping a 1 1/2" pump supply will be big enough
* Room in my stand for the pump and additional plumbing as well as 6" of space in back of tank to wall for fittings

Now it comes down to pump choices and a Oceans Motions unit choice. I have read a bunch of people recommending the Reeflow Dart and it seems like a good choice and have one available if needed.

It then leaves a 4-way, squirt, super squirt and 1 other as a switching choice.

Looking for any advise on the best possible combo without pushing the wife boundary on $$$. She knows its going to be 400 or so but need to keep it around that is possible..

I'm using a Dart on a OM 4-way and am very happy with it. The Dart has a 2" inlet so you may restrict the suction of the pump but if you install a good valve (buy good ball valves for inlet and output) you should be able to pinch back if you have a problem.

PS: If your pump is cavatating (micro bubbles) pinch on output.

moumda,
Thanks for the reply and info. I saw the 2" intake and was wondering if it was going to cause a problem using a 1 1/2" bulkhead on the tank. There is a big diff in price between the 4 way and the others and trying to judge if its worth it....

Anyone else care to offer some advise?

I'm using the super squirt with my dart. It's T'ed off right before the SS and then extra flow is directed to the bottom of the tank.
