Closed Loop Spraybar question

I am running a closed loop pump that returns to the tank and into two spraybars.

The spraybars come out of the top of the water a bit and there are holes there which were originally intended to help with surface aggitation.

Question, I am now having lots of micro bubbles come through the spraybar. Could this be the cause?

Thanks.

Looking for input from anyone in the world besides Mr. Jeremy "I flunked Kindergarden 6 times" Adams. :D

You really think so or are you just goofin?

I was thinking since it was through an output there would not be, but it's not working. Don't know what else could be causing it. It is new since the move.

I really think so

I would say try moving it below the water line, then you should know forsure..

Turns out it was the intake. The spraybar is still partially returning above water and the microbubbles are gone.

The closed loop intake is in one of the chambers in back of the tank, so I put a bunch of bioballs back there to minimize the amount of bubbles that can get to the intake. I didn't ever realize there were bubbles back there, since the back is against the wall I never see it.

Ya I did take the spraybars, and some of the rock out before I found this out.

Thanks for the help
