Cloudy Eye / Clarkii Clown

I noticed last night that one eye on my Clarkii clown was cloudy. The eye is not bulging and the clown is acting normal, swimming around fine and eating. This also happened in the last couple of days because I was taking pics of the clown this weekend and it was fine.
I've had the clown for over a year and this is the first time I have seen this, any advice for treatment?

My emperor angel has the same thing, just looks a little cloudy like a thin coat of white slimey stuff. Appeared over night for me. I called my lfs and was told to use, spelling is really bad , mayracen, think thats pretty close, it takes two capfuls for every ten gallons. I am trying to find out if that is best way or not. If I find out anything I will post.

Well the down side to working for the goverment is they like to block alot of sites. So I called my favorite LFS and he had told me that poor water conditions are the sorce. In my tank the only thing I have been having a problem with is nitrates. How about you?

Heck your water is prefect. That is a possiblity but you never know. What I am confused about is that my angel does sleep in a tight spot, but still has plenty of room. I will still probley treat my tank cause it is FOWLR and everything in there is tough as door nails. Hope you can figure out what happen. Mabey he will recover on his own, you keep your tank great condition and you have had him for a while now. Good luck.

Thanks D659600. I'm really not liking the idea of treating a reef tank with anything so I'm going to wish for the best.
