Cloudy tank?

my tank looks cloudy and I have no idea why. Would running carbon help? Will carbon effect corals?

maybe more details on your tank! is the tank new? how long has it been running? water par?

when last did u do a water change? etc

Sorry to hear about your brother, high-quality carbon is fine to use. I would not use Walmart or PetSmart carbon, which is mostly made up of burnt coconut high in po4.

Water Parameters:

Alk 8dkh
Calcium 425
Phosphate 0.026
Nitrate 0
Nitrites 0

Ok If I get carbon can I just put it in sump or foes it have to go into a filter? I have a small filter from a 10 gallon can I use that?.
