cloudy tank

anybody have an answer to why my tank randomly got cloudy like overnight and has been that way for a couple days. all chemistry lvls are normal

the only thing i can think of is i recently started feeding frozen brine shrimp in addition to normal flakes plus nori for tangs. deciding to start doing this to increase protein in fish's diet and they always ate all the nori and flakes quickly. i have only fed 1 of the small frozen cubes of brine on two separates occasions so far. they might not eat every single bit but it seems like they eat a good portion of it. also have serpent star and cleaner shrimp and mad snails that usually eat stray food too. still unsure about this whole thing

A bacteria explosion caused from excess food ,fish waste and other debris. Also if you want any shrimps then i would remove the serpant.

LR placement .powerhead placement and type of cleaning crew and amount you feed and scedule.A tank pic would help.

why can't a serpent and cleaner shrimp be together? LR is in middle of tank with swimming room on all sides. they are in a small pile on each end and bridges and gaps throughout the middle. have 2 small strombus conchs 2 dozen ceriths 2 dozen nassarius 2 dozen astrea 5 turbos is what i have put in a few have died along the way. also have thousands of baby snails. within the past 3 or 4 months 10-15 colonies of snail eggs have hatched and at nightime the rocks and glass are all literally covered with baby snails. before i started feeding some brine i was feeding nori every other day or so and 2 pinches of flake a day about 6 hrs apart during the day all of which is eaten. will work on geting a pic if you still wana see it. will use my friends camera tomorow

This is a 75 gallon.My god your way overstocked on all those.In my 75 i have 2 turbos , 5 nass , about 10 hermits and 2 conch.

My serpant was fine for over a yr but as he grew so did is appetite and after loosing 4 cleaner shrimp without knowing why i found a new added shrimp in his clutches.

I feed flake in the morning what they can eat in 2 or 3 min then frozen at night with 4 type to rotate and what they can eat in 3 or 4 min.

You have to many CUC.

in reality what bad things come from too many snails? why? that bacterial bloom that is causing the cloudiness is coming from overfeeding or overstocked clean up crew?

Well theres nowhere near enough of a food source for them.So many will die from an unpleasant slow starvation and only add to the problem. Then your putting to much of a load on the tank that would be better used for fish.
Im not sure whene they were added and other factors but you need to add fish and CUC balance. In time there numbers will lower to the level that would sustain them only extending your tanks maturaty.

If you want shrimp remove the serpant?
i have 4 cleaners in my 125 and a serpent in and they have never had a problem,
i also have 2 cleaners and on in my 77...

You also have a larger tank and still its a with caution critter. My response was from my experiance and many threads i see on this subject. As with your response also from your experiance. Hense with caution critter.

Cierths and margeritas are dumb and whene they get upsidedown they cant always upright themselfs and just die.

How many fish do you have?

i like the blue leg hermits because they can get into very small cracks and holes and do a good job cleaning, and eat hair algae.

i dont agree on overstocking. you will be fine, and if they do die, that is part of the game. CUC is always something that you have to check up on and restock if needed once a year or so. i think that if everyone is happy then you are good.

but i do think that some small hermits would be good, plus they are cool to watch.
