I noticed last night my water went cloudy out of nowhere. Fish seemed fine, corals were irritated, btas were fine. I immediately refreshed carbon and added a piece of (white floss that removes chemicals). Everything seems pretty much back to normal today.... Except one thing. The surface tension of the water isn't right because the skimmer isn't forming a foam head. I would not expect a bacteria bloom to do this.... Anyone ever had a problem like this? I tested the basics and everything is as it has been for years.
I do carbon dose which is why I suspect bacteria bloom. I'm paranoid that the toddler dropped something in the tank... Planning on building a full hood as soon as I get the time.
