Cloudy Water

Anyone have any problems with the superskimmer? I cant get the waterflow to work. Its either too much or too little i spend about an hour a day messing with it trying to get the good level and i cant get. I took the skimmer off today. Im gonna try and put it on the other side of my tank and see what happens. My water is back to crystal clear, But i dont think its because of the skimmer since i dont think its really been working. I think the new power filter that has cleared it up.
