Cloudy Water

I have a Fluval 304 on my 55g FO tank, i changed the carbon and rinses the spnges out like 3 2 days ago, i also did my first water change at the same time of about 15 gallons of ro/di water. The wate ris cloudy and never has been. did i forget to do somehtin gto the water before i put it in, i added salt and ph buiffer and let it sit a day, why is my water getting cloudy ?

do you have a sand bed? did sand get stirred up when you did the water change? obvious questions? Sure, but newbies panic...uhm..no offense. Anyway, if it's not those things, how much ph buffer did you put in?

Really, rodi water is clear. i'm assuming the tank water you had was clear. Either something got stirred up, you put too much salt in, you put too much ph buffer in, or a living creature died/mated/or got scared if you have a squid/octopus. Of course, if your tank is cycling, hopefully you don't have living creatures in it.
