OK, here is a question that I cant get a staright answer for.
I have read up and did all the tests i can think of.
so i come to you for some advise.

For the past few days my water in my 75 gal tank is been getting cloudy. it looks as if there is little particles floating around in it every where. It is getting really bad. Last week it was crystal clear. i have done nothing different thatn I usually do. anny thoughts?

did u do a big water change? Usually when I start a new tank its cloudy for a few days... Or If you do too big of a water change.. like 50%

Stick a cannister or power filter on it to "polish" the water. I think I've seen that suggested here before. :)

Otherwise, just wait it out. :)

Nope, No big water change, just the usual top off from evaporation. every thing in the tank is doing great... fish corals. nothing seems to mind the haze ... just me.

Might be worth checking your water parameters, and post them here, in particular PH, Calcium, Alk.

Its possible you calcium lvl's have got too high and has started to pecipitate out of solution, this will lead to cloudy water, and in some cases look like its snowing.

I am actully running a carbon pillow atm in my sump to try to clear it up with no luck. I took my water to the LFS and dont remember the calicum lvl or the alk lvl but they were good the Ph was 8.3 nitrates .0, nitrites .0, copper .0 , specific gravity 1.022...

LFS said to run some water clairifier, but i am leary of using such stuff. havent heard good or bad things about them.

I would do a 25% water change. Check your water to make sure all of your Parameters are where they should be. Then run some carbon in your tank. It really does the trick for clearing up your water.....
