Cloudy Water

Sorry I know there have been alot of threads about this issue but here is my problem. I dosed my 140gallon with Seachem Reef Buffer and my pH is 8.2 but my water is cloudy. I did a water change with no help. My stats Amm:0.0 , Trate:5 , Trite:0.0 , Cal:420 and dKh: 8. SG:1.026 temp:78.8. Any help would be great. Tank is a month old and has 120lbs of LR.

you probably dont need buffer yet, and until its stable dont add livestock, the cloudiness could be a bloom, which will eventually go away or i wonder if you have disturbed the substate, also have you got a skimmer going as this sorts out problems as well, i know its early in the day yet others will help but it does sound like your still cycling

with a 140lbs of liverock and it being a month old. sounds like it is cycling. this can take 3-8 weeks depending oh what shape the rock was in when you placed it in the tank. ( I have even heard of it taking longer) keep the skimmer ramped up where it produces wet skimmate. and set back and relax. if it bothers you a lot you can get a cheap canister filter and fill it to the gills with carbon.
