looking for a pair of those fancy clownfish for a nano tank.

There are so many kinds of them on the market. Can someone please tell me their differences and which ones are more hardy and grow slower that is more suitable for a nano setup? And price ranges?

Any breeder out there? I want to pick the ones that I like by their (markings on the body?) because of that I don't want to get them online.

If, by fancy you mean designer clowns, then for a nano tank, ocellaris or percula species variants (Onyx, Picasso, Da Vinci, etc.) are probably your best bet. Both species grow to about the same size. Other designers, such as the "Lightning Maroon" will most likely get too big and become too aggressive in a nano. Prices vary tremendously and vary by retailer, coloring and pattern, availability, to people quite frankly just trying to rip other people off.

There are quite a few breeders here in the Bay Area. You'll find lots of locally bred clowns available for sale at the LFS, as well as direct from the breeder. All of the locally grown fish look at lot better than those from the big breeders (ORA, Sustainable Aquatics, etc.).

I am getting ready to release a few Onyx Clowns (C-Quest lineage). You're welcome to swing by to take a look. I also have other pairs of clowns that you can look at -- it may help you to decide what you ultimately want to buy.

after some researches, I might narrow down to those below but
I don't see the differences between:

Wyoming White vs Platinum
Picasso vs Snowflake
