clown behavior??

Ok so I have an orange ocellaris and a black ocellaris and they seem to just stay in the top corner of the aquarium behind the return jet... is this normal for them to do this? I have a 72 gallon bowfront btw

Not really.

Do you have a lid on the tank?
Whats used for water flow?

I beg to disagree. Clowns will stay in their "safe zone" espesially if there is a bigger fish in there. They are "hosting" (even though clowns don't host, its the nem that host) your return.

I do have a canopy and I use a mag 9.5 that's a little reduced due to the check valve I put on it and a koraline 1050 for a powerhead.
Is there a way that I can get them to move around more in the tank like they used to? As far as the livestock I have...2 green chromis that arent much bigger than the two clowns, one blood shrimp, a sifter goby, 1 feather duster, zoas, green star polyps, and torch coral. Id like them to maybe host the torch??

Agree with previous poster. Your clowns have identified the spot in your tank where they feel safe and they've claimed it for themselves. This is normal behavior for clowns. Cruising around the tank is not really their thing, except maybe at feeding times.

That sounds about exactly my situation...Is there any way to "move" them? Just kinda sucks bc their spot is in the upper back left corner of the tank so you dont really see them much... :/

Is there a lot of current where you want the clowns to hang out? My experience is that they definitely have a preferred area of my tank but they will cruise around across the front of the tank, end to end some of the time. When I had strong flow going across the front of the tank they didn't cruise around as much. When I changed the strong flow away from that area they cruised a lot more frequently. They have an RBTA but just the female is really at home in it. Still she cruises around too.
