Ok I bought I very small bubble coral from angela, about the size of a silver dollar. I have about a 1/1/2 in maroon clown who is trying to hos in it and irritating the crap out of it, she didnt even give it a chance to acclimate she started in on it within the first day. any ideas how to stop this?

...or give her something else to host in that would be more desireable like an anemone (assuming your confident that you can take care of it) or a decent sized piece of frogspawn.

I agree that if it has chosen the bubble, you may be in trouble. You could try covering the bubble with some sort of two liter bottle sections (cut the top and put holes in it for flow, etc.) or soemthing to give it a chance to open up and get happy. Worth a shot, I guess.

I have heard of placing the strawberry crates over corals to keep a fish out of them. one you can get the clown out for a while, then you should be ok. I had one host in some fuzzy shrooms but when I moved them, it quit.

I just took it out, I have to pretty good frogspawns she ignores, I dont get it? Hopefully I got it out in time. any idea why she would ignore the frospawns which are much larger and chosse a tiny tiny bubble coral makes no sense?
