Clown & Clam

I am thinking of getting a clam and i have a clown goby and ive seen and heard of clown goby "hosting" clams, i was just wondering would this affect the clam if he did?

clownfish or clown goby? clown goby perches on whatever and might make the clam close or retract part of the mantle. i used to have a clown goby in my tank

clownfish, im not sure of. ive seen pictures of the clownfish inside clams but dont know what to think about that
