clown compatibility

I have a 55 gallon mixed reef, with a very light fish load, but I do have a Cinnamon clown--he gets on ok with the other fish, no probs, I was wondering if a false perc would be ok with him? Like I said it is a 55 gallon, with mixed corals, and about 70# of LR, lots of caves and crevices. I have heard mixed opinions on keeping different types of clowns in the same tank. What do you think?? Would a Cinnamon and false perc be ok???

I wouldn't risk it. They might be ok for a while but it's likely something will go wrong later on down the road. Get your Cinnamon a lil boyfriend. Pairs are much more fun :D

Concur... little cin will be a much better option than the oscellaris. I've tried mixing species in LARGE systems (125gal+). You better have good netting skills! I watched my Cinnamon kill a $50 B&W within 30secs of introduction. I didn't even know I needed my net on standby. She grabbed the B&W's pectoral fin and beat it violently against a rock. Learn from other's mistakes.

that's one of the most violent clown story I hear. I do mix clowns sometimes (not recommended) for various reasons but never had one that got kill in 30s, kinda scary.

How big were the size difference?
