clown dead after 3rd day

I added the first fish to my tank Friday, a 12 gal aquapod, and came home Sunday to find the fish dead. I have been anal about checking the params since the add and they showed nothing. Rates, Rites and ammonia were all fine. I have xenia, a mushroom, and zoas in there and they are out and looking good as ever. He acted odd somewhat since I put him in, not really looking over the rockwork or the tank, just swimming up and down the glass. I fed him friday evening a little frozen shrimp. I fed him yesterday morning(Sunday) and he didn't even try to eat, wasn't interested at all. I'm going to call the store tomorrow to see if the others in the tank are still okay but until then any ideas? I have a mj900 with a hydorflo, do you think it worked him to hard because all he did was swim in the stream.

How long was it in QT? Signs of heavy breathing, wounds, or other issues? A clown not eating pretty much immediately screams a problem.

Was there any white string-like substances hanging off of it?? My guess is it was a captive bred clown???

Next time QT him in a tank with formalin (SP?). That takes care of a lot of diseases that will kill clowns
