Clown feeding anemone?

Hello I have a rose BTA with an Oscellarius...the clown does not drop scraps to the anemone, but at times takes food from it....however I recently got a green BTA and a Clarkii for another tank. I have observed during each feeding that the Clarkii takes food to the anemone and keeps nuzzling the food towards the anemone's mouth....is this common? Should this change how I feed the green BTA? That is, should I just drop some krill in there and assume the Clarkii will feed the anemone?

Yes my clarkii is doing the same thing, only he feeds his main anome and picks even the other peaces of fish from the other anemones on the rock and gives it to his main anemone. Jus drop the fish in the tank and look what happends, its really fun to watch.

My clowns do the same but I also feed my aneomones about twice a week with krill. The clowns attack my hand when I get close.

I never feed my anenome's my clarikii clowns feed them at every feeding.

In the past, I have seen my GSM female pick up peppermint shrimp that venture too close to her and drop them into the anenome! A nice like $3 snack! Dang fish!

Best,

you dont need to worry about feeding your nem even if your clown doesnt feed him if that is what you are asking. i never seen my GSM feed my rbta, but i am sure it has happened. if i feel like feeding my nem, i'll put some mysis and baby brine in a turkey blaster and shoot a half tube into the nem's tenticles.

IME Clarkis are the best I've had at taking care of their nems, and maroons second.
Occs seem to be the worst IMO, and I'd be glad/feel lucky if it even accepted nem host.
I've seen occs rob food from nems many times.
My Clarkis never ate until after they fed nem first, ever.
