clown fish and anemone

ive had my clownfish for about a day now same as the anemone and i was wondering how long does it take for the clownfish to go in the clown fish

Theres really no set time. Sometimes its quick and other times it never happens and everywhere in between. What type of nem and clown do you have?

If you added the nem and clowns at the same time it could take some time.....You should have let the nem get itself established first...

as others have said, there is no set rule. Some clowns host immediately, some never go in.

I've had clowns ignore my bubble tip nems, but host my wavebox (morons...)

I took a look at your video, and hate to say it but that Sebae (( H. crispa )) is in pretty poor condition. Besides being bleached (( white )), its mouth is slightly open, and lastly its tentacles are too short -- meaning that it is most likely been consuming itself for energy.

What are your water parameters (( with numbers )) and what lights do you have?

Lastly, a healthy Crispa will out grow that tank is short order.
