I have an anemone (im not sure which kind it is sorry) and it came with a crab thats an anemone crab. The crab is smaller than the anemone but the anemone isnt huge. So my question is, could i get a clown fish and have him live in the anemone with the crab, if they cant share what will happen if i stick a clown fish in the tank?

My father has a anemone, and 5 crab anemones and 2 percs all of which happily host the anemone together. from time to time the perc does get a little agressive towards a crab but it comes to a very quick stop and no one is ever hurt. Its like the perc realizes its one of the crabs and backs off.

One the second, maybe an alveopora? Its a coral, not a plant. Goniopora and alveopora are pretty similar, but the Goni is harder to keep and I think has 24 little tentacles aroudn each stalk, whereas the alveopora has 12 (unless I got that backwards). Its hard to tell in the picture, but I'm pretty sure there aren't 24 on those.
The anemone may be a Sebae? Or maybe a Condy, in which case I don't think they host clowns in the wild. Sebaes do, there's a sticky in one of the forums where they list host anemones and the host clowns that occur in the wild, I would find that and read up on it. Get a second opinion on this other stuff though, I could be all wrong.

Gonis in particular tend to be difficult because (I've heard) in nature they tend to like a lot of nutrients in the water, which generally speaking, we try to avoid in our tanks. I tend to target feed stuff like that every so often with stuff like Coral Frenzy or tiny bits of crushed up frozen Formula foods. Maybe some Cyclopeeze mixed in for good measure.

the anemone looks like a sabae not a condy so it is clown friendly... look at the FAQ at the top of the anemone clownfish forum for what clowns are natural hosts.
id assume the crab does the same thing a clown does - provide foods in exchange for protection.
that second pic is indeed an alveopora or a gonipora and GENERALLY dont do well in tanks... they will look beautiful for weeks or months and then go south in a matter of days. they are an LPS type coral, so maybe posting in that forum can get you some more specific info. ive never kept one because of their reputation but i have seen many id like to get because of their colors.
