Hi im thinking of breeding some clowns false or true perc. I have a 10,5.5 and a 2.5 gallon tank(s) maybe a 20L by the end of the summer (turtle growing up). will 3 small tanks work i have lights all that stuff but can i grow my own food (phytoplankton?) i will read the Microfood culture: phytoplanktons, Rotifers, ciliates, Artemia, and copepods fourm but how what will i need for clown breeding (Cheapest way)

No one has jumped on this one yet. So, from my reading most seem to start feeding the larva rots for several days then move to baby brine shrimp and then on to larger prepared foods. Cyclopeeze would be something I'd have on the menu too.
I am experienced with clownfish but not with clownfish breeding. So take that with a grain of salt.

If you're really looking to learn how to breed I'd start with ocellaris. They're reportedly the easiest to get to spawn.

Get your hands on a copy of Joyce Wilkersons book CLOWNFISHES. Covers everything you'll need to know.
