Clown fish- Black spot

My clown has a black spot behind its fin. has another one by his belly. they are pretty big, they have been there for about a week. any one know what this could be.

Got a pic? Are they big black spots or little ones, I know clowns will darken if they are hosting in anemones or certain corals. A picture would really help, in the meantime do a good round of testing to make sure nothings off in the tank and keep him/ her well fed.

they are pretty big black spots. he has two bigger ones, and 3-4 little ones. I will get a pic and test tommarrow

This is interesting. I know nothing about fish, sorry. If this were an SPS, I could be of some help.

How old are your clowns? Many will sometimes go through this as they mature. It is a normal change in the pigmentation for them. Nothing to worry about if they otherwise appear to be healthy.

i am trying to get a good pic. the clown is being difficult. when i do i will try it there. thanks for the help
