I have a misbarred orange percula and a black percula clown. Can I add a pair of clarky clowns? I want something that will host my anemones and the clowns I have will not go near it.

What types of anemones do you currently have?

I'd recommend just one pair of clownfish per tank. Especially with Clarkii clownfish.....they're very aggressive. They'd probably end up killing your other pair of clownfish.

I'd give your current pair some more time, and see if they'll end up using your anemones as their host. My bf's pair of Ocellaris clowns took a good 2 months or so before they decided to use our RTBA as a host. Now, they won't leave it. They "discovered" the anemone shortly after we started putting pictures on the tank that showed clownfish in anemones. Not sure if it actually worked or not, but you could always give it a shot.

And just for your information, there is no all-black Percula clownfish. If he/she is all black, you most likely have an Ocellaris.

Good luck!

It will also depend on the size of your tank. I had a 10g nano with clarkii and the tank failed. I dumped the clarkii in my 120 with two false percs, the poor clarkii had her fins full trying to hid for over a month. Finally she has her own side of the tank and they don't go after each other too much.

I have a 95 gallon corner. I have a RBTA, GBTA, and a Seabea. I have had my clowns for 1.5 years. They started in a 34 gallon Solana and have been in my corner for about 2 months. They have never hosted anything except some hair algae. I tried th picture thing n my solana and it didnt work.
