Clown fish dead

So I posted earlier about a clownfish showing signs of distress, heavy breathing, staying in one area almost motionless just barely swimming into a light current and not eating.

This started yesterday and he is dead today.

Could this be a case of stress? There is another larger clown in the tank same species but they didn't get along. They stay on opposite sides of the tank and rarely get close to each other. The surviving one is quite a bit bigger than the dead one. They lived together for about 2 months

There are also 2 firefish that seem to be happy and healthy. Various snails and a skunk shrimp all doing there thing. A couple of small zoa frags, small gsp, small clove polyp and a small frogspawn. All the corals seems happy.

I thought it might have been ich. I didn't see any visual signs

No sign of velvet

Tank is 29g hob filter and heater. 2 orbit ic lights and 3 eFlux 660 power heads one is pointed at the surface for agitation. I do 10% water changes weekly and haven't missed one. Water is ro/di Water parameters are all good 1.024 no ammonia or nitrite. Nitrate 1-2 ppm. Cal 420 magnesium 1250 ph 8 alk 11 it's been running for about 3 months now with no issues minus green film algae that doesn't seem to want to go away. Not getting worse or better.

Per my LFS I ran a phosnet in my hob filter. It was supposed to run for 4 days per instruction. On day 2 I noticed the fish acting odd and removed the phosnet. Also did another water change and replaced my carbon filter. Could this be the culprit?

Long rant sorry, just hate losing a fish. And I am concerned for the others even though they aren't showing any signs of anything.

Should I remove the other fish an qt just in case?

Thanks for any input!

Firstly, I'm so sorry this happened. And yes I hate losing fish too. It's devastating to me. I never thought I could get so attached but apparently I can.
Secondly, breathing heavy and swimming into the current is often symptoms of velvet or some other type of parasite affecting the gills. Sadly 95% of the time a fish is infected with killer levels of velvet or ich you will not see it. Usually by the time you do see it the infection is severe or the fish just got lucky and was affected more on the outside than inside.

I'd strongly suggest medicating all fish while in QT. And while this increases your chances for a healthy fish, it by no means, guarantees absolutely no parasites or illnesses.

Sorry about the fish. We're both clowns same size, near same? Did they show aggression towards each other? Clowns are pretty aggressive towards other clowns, especially the large one. And to tell who's the gonna be male or female(just my 2 cents)

Nope orange ocalleris was much bigger than platinum. And they did show aggression but usually stayed in opposite sides of he tank so I didn't think much of it.
