Clown fish Death

I have had a pair of True Percula Clowns for 4 years, they were my first fish. The larger female died an accidential death today. The screen/guard had fallen off of a power head sometime during the day and she must have gotten a little too close.
My question is, should I get another to replace her so the existing one will have a partner? Or will the existing one not accept a new friend as a tankmate?

if i have a female of a pair die, i typically get a younger/smaller of the same species and let the current male transition to female.

that's more on account of not having an overly reliable source for large known females of the species i need (that aren't wild caught) w/in a timely manner, tho. if ya leave the current male on his own for too long, he'll transition to female anyway, so if you're going to attempt another large female, do it soon.

percs and ocellaris are fairly easy to pair up, you just want to avoid the potential for two females in a tank.

I second what heap said... go with a smaller one and let the 4 year old male turn female... Since that's the prize in clownfish world - it's his turn LOL
