Clown fish dying..

i recnetly got 2 clown fish from O street, at this moment one of them is dying, lying on the bottom of the tank and gasping. Before it did this it was swiming at the surface so would this indicate ammonia problems? the other clown looks fine and has not acted strange at all. my ammonia param looks fine, maybe someone with better testing tools could come over and help me fine out why my fish is dying? minh? any advice would be great, and if anyone reads this now is there anything i can do to try and save the lil guy?

What are your other water parameters? What is your Nitrate and nitrite? You specific gravity? It's really hard to say without knowing your other water parameter.

If I were you, I'd do a water change as soon as possible. How is your other clown doing? It's possible that it's just that clown.

When I first started, I had two clowns in my nano tank. All the water parameter looked fine. But one clown died like your clown. However, the other clown was perfectly fine. As a matter of fact, I still have the other clown in my tank. I don't know what caused it - but it just happened suddenly. So sometimes things like this happen, and it might not even be your fault.

BTW - your canopy is done. Just waiting for the glue to dry (estimate 2 days). I don't know if I have any polyeurathane. If I do, do you want me to stain and polyeurathane it for you? (That'll take a few extra days.) Oh - I didn't have a 3" hole saw to cut the hole for you. I can cut a smaller hole if you want.
