I have a percula clownfish that has just started nipping at my crocea clam. He has been in the tank with the clam for 2 years now, and has never been a problem. He is fairly aggressive now when I put my hand in the tank to clean, and that aggressiveness has increased over the past year.
I have a 12 gallon nano reef tank. The clownfish is the only fish, other than a goby/tiger pistol pistol pair that stay under the rocks most of the time.
Any thing I can do? Is this normal?
Since I can't move the clam, I may have to find a new home for my clownfish.
