clown fish question

Today when I came home from work I found one of my clown fish dead on the floor (really sad). It was one of 2 tank raised ocellaris I bought at same time about 2 years ago as juivinals. They beacme a pair and hung out together all the time, but had not actually mated yet. Not sure if the one that jumped was the mail or femail of the 2, although it was just slightly larger than the remaining one. My question is can I introduce another juivinal into the tank. I've read that they are all born males and the more dominate transitions into the femail. Not sure if the remaining clown would accept a juivinal or kill it. I really would like to have a pair but not sure if thats possible now. I am hoping that is possible and even if my remaining clown is a male, it would transition to the female if a new juivinal male was introduced
