I just got back from a vacation and my clown fish is ill. The is a white patch that is surrounding the outh that appears to be growing on the fishes bottom lip. It is cone shaped with the cone pointing away from the fishes lip. It is a whiteish color and appears fuzzy.
Fish is still eating and swimming with no other visible sysmptoms showing.
Parameters.
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0
ph 8.1
Ca 380.
Temp 82
Tank is a 20g with various SPS and softie corals. Only stinging coral is a frogspawn.
Only tank mate is a pink spotted watchman goby.
Sorry no ability to post pics.
Is there a place I can see a catalog of disease pics for clowns, or is this common? If it is common what is the best course of treatement I should pursuit. I won't be able to get meds until morning.
Any advice would really be appeciated. Thanks so much. I'm new to clowns so your advice is appreciated.
