I'v had my true percula clown fish for about 2 days now, I got them from a friend who's had them for 2 years. They are a mated pair, the female is 3" and the male is 2 1/4". Any-ways my male clown fish will swim around the tank and put every piece of food in his mouth and will just spit everything out. He will even do this to the same piece of food 3 or 4 times. I asked my friend what he feeds him and he said new life spectrum 1 mm pellets, which we have, spirulina flakes, which we have, and frozen mysis shrimp which we also have. but he will just spit it out. Please help!

Every clown that I have ever bought has done this. They always seem to be uninterested in food the first few days after a move. I'm sure it will start eating soon. You can try to get them interested by giving something that is hard to resist like cyclop-eeze or live brine shrimp if you are really worried about it.
