Clown fish

Hi,

Around a month ago one of my clown fish died of a disease. Now I'm thinking of adding another one. Would the current clown fish cause any problem to the new one?

The other inmates are two green chromis.

Thank you,
Martin

Just make sure that you get a clown that is smaller than the one you have. You would have problems if say your fish has turned to female and you were to add another female, not good someone is going to die and it would probably be the new addition .

A lot depends on how big the one you have now is, but getting one around an inch no more than inch and a half you should be fine.

I would be more concerned with the fact that it's only been a month since the last fish died to a disease. How do you know the disease is out of your system yet?

Though yes get a smaller clown preferably one that is being kept with other small clowns it was raised with to further reduce the chance of getting a female.
