my tank is 5 weeks old I just got my 1st fish. He is a gold striped clown fish about 2 inches, I was wondering when I could get him a anemone and what kind do they usually like? Kelly

im about 5 months if everything is going really well in your tank, and perimeters are stable you could try a bubble tip anemone, these are maroon/goldstripes natural host in the wild

agreed, wait for an established tank, after all your parameter swings, after your future posts of "whats this red slime taking over"

Normally 5-6 months. Then you may consider it. But 9 months would be better.
