Clown Food

I have been told by many people that I need to vary the diet I feed my clowns. I bought frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms recently and my clowns don't really like them. I have 2 types of flake food I feed them, one spirulina and the other Tetra marine. My clowns go nuts for these flakes. I know I'm supposed to vary the food, but since they love the flakes so much (and I'm trying to vary them), is this so bad?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Ditto on the mysis. I also fortify mine with Kent Zoe and Garlic. The fish absolutely love it and eat like pigs, plus its great for them. I don't feed them this everyday but at least 4 or so days a week then I switch to dry food when I'm feeling lazy :) !

Me 3 for Mysis! (specifically PE mysis) My clowns really like table shrimp and squid (from the supermarket) cut up into very small pieces. Frozen formula one and forumal two (made by ocean nutrition) are very good foods for clownfish too.

Have my pair of true percula close to 4 yrs, they've been eating gold fish flakes (main diet) and home made blent food once in awhile. They spawn monthly and are very healthy.
I'd just go with any type of flakes that has all ingredients I wanted for my clown fish. And the "total goldfish" flake happens to be one that covers pretty much all nutritions for both carnivore and herbivore fish . My clowns and other fish love it to death
