Clown Goby issue

ok guys has anyone else had a problem with a clown goby having a death wish? I have pulled this little guy out of my overflow 5 times now and he still hasn't learned. I am not sure if he is hanging out on the overflow and since he is so small is just getting sucked into the overflow or is he is doing for the fun of it. I have to keep taking the hood off of my tank to get him out. Any suggestions to keep him in the main tank? I don't want to block the teeth on the overflow is my only issue.

I know you said you don't want to block your overflow but I used the small light diffuser grate from Home Depot to run a cross member along Tha back of my overflow. It kept my baby clown in place.

You can also make a"cover" out of the clear netting many use to make jump covers from. You may need to brush it out every so often, but it allows clear water flow.

Is he going over the top or is he small enough to fit in between the teeth?

Does anyone know where to get clear netting locally to make a top for my cube?

You might get lucky and someone has some extra laying around. Don't think local shops sell it. Order from brs

How large is the SPS you have for him to live in? Sometimes if it's too small a coral they stray from it and seek a more sheltered place.
