I had a breeding pair of ocellaris clown fish for about four to five years, my brother also had a breeding pair, his female died and he wanted to tear down the nano that was housing the pair so I told him he could add the male to my tank and we'd see what happened. I have a 6 foot 210 gallon reef, the breeding pair stayed in the left corner so we added the single male to the right corner. He went right over to the left corner and after a few days they were a happy threesome. I had them together for maybe six months or so when my tank broke and drained and I lost all the fish.
I would love to add another group of clowns, my question is would it be better to add an even number or odd number? I plan to add all small juvies.
