clown has black dot's...........help me.....

sometimes they are just harmless spots indicating that it was accidentally stung by its anemone or other corals. perfectly safe. doubt that it's black ICH. seen any doubtful signs?

If they're True Percula's, it could be hypermelanization, which is just a simple process where you clown develops more black.

One of my Clarkii had these when I had got him, and within a day or two they disappeared. I wouldn't worry (but I am not one to talk since I did the same thing).

I salute you. take care of yourself over there. :)

your clowns will wait for you ;)

I'd be willing to bet it is an ORA tank raised true perc...they aer normally the ones who start getting dark by spotting up, most others will start noticing the black lines between the white bar and the orange start to thicken. I've noticed that the black spots are very indicitive of ORA TB, and possibly one of their picassos(most of which are sold as true percs...)

You'll have plenty of time with them when you get back(they can live for over 30 years), so don't worry about that. I hope all goes well for you. How long is your tour?

4 month's,( i hope) i'll be training other soldiers, do to me being in the regular army as an infantry before. my problem now is now i have to buy coral's all over again, i don't have a single coral in the tank which sucks, because i wanted a reef tank, now all i have is 4 clown fish.....two are in the proses of having baby's( second batch).......
