Clown has one eye swollen

I noticed today one of my clowns has a swollen eye, its still acting normal and eating. It wasn't like that this morning, what can it be?

This sometimes happens. Apparently Clarkii's and Polymnus are prone to getting it. If it is only one eye then it is most likely due to physical damage and will heal up given a couple of weeks and good water quality. If it is both eyes then it can be a much bigger problem (search for Pop eye and clownfish).

I have a clarkii that was breeding every 2 weeks with the problem in one eye so he can't have been too unhappy. Either that or he is too scared of the female to say "not tonight dear I have a headache"

I could ve wrong, but I don't think there is much to be gained from treating. Just make sure that your water quality is as good as you can provide and it should clear up.

Heres some pics of it. Does yours look like this? Hopefully its not a bacterial infection. Any idea why his eyes look blue?

Looks fairly normal for a swolen eye. It is probably just the light making it look blue.

If the fish is otherwise healthy I would not do anything too drastic. Just make sure your water quality is good and keep an eye on him (no pun intended)
