Clown has spots?

One of my clowns seems to have a few dark patches developing on one side of his body. I tried taking a pic but after around 50 tries I gave up, he won't stop moving for a second!!!

Anyway I bought him and another clown at the same time and they've both been doing very well. There is nothing wrong with the second clown at all, he looks great.

Does anyone know what a few dark spots mean in terms of illness? I don't think it's ich, b/c that produces white spots from what I've read.

Any help would be much appreciated!


EDIT: I forgot to mention, his mouth and his "face" seem slightly, slightly disformed as well.

pictures would be good but clowns can get stung by anenomies etc and this discolours there skin giving dark spots.

I tried for a long time to get a pic with no success. I don't have any anemones but I do have a bunch of zoas. I guess it's possible the clown tried to get comfy with the zoas and got stung. His appetite is still ravenous and he's very active, just has blotches.

And the blotches are bigger than pinhead size. I dont' think it's black ich, they're definitely bigger than that.

Well I got home from my LFS and the little guy is lying motionless on the sandbed. He's a goner.
