Quite frankly I've never heard of pearl eye bicinctus. ORA has spotcinctus listed on its website (no pearl eye) and it seems that some retailers use pearl eye designation to describe them.

If memory serves, pearl eye came first... Some called them eyelash clowns I think. Both bicinctus and clarkii versions were sold. I actually found the pearl eye bicinctus attractive, which I don't normally like the designer clowns, and considered getting a pair.

Interesting. I actually looked at Spotcinctus and Bicinctus clowns at LFS before opting for SA's black Clarkii pair. So many designer names and clowns nowadays it's hard to keep track. Lol

My oppinion is Bicinctus........


When the fishes grow.......Allard´s tail become white..........

Bicinctus do not turn clean white.................when the fishes grow..........


Black body Bicinctus are awesome fishes..........not all Bicinctus have black body...........
