Clown Issues

I have a 37 gallon FOWLR with
-25 pounds live sand
-30 pounds live rock
-Aquaclear 110 filter
-Blue spotted puffer
-Ocellaris Clown

Every time I get a new clown, one of the clowns always dies within a week or two. What am I doing wrong? Will a clown be happy alone?

They are going to ask for water parameters.

Is it the same clown that lives each time?
Are the additions male or female?
Is the currant occupant male or female?
Do you observe any "flashing" or aggressive behavior?
Does the new addition eat?
Quarantine?

From what little info you gave me it sounds like you have an agressive female and the male is being picked on until it dies.

Yes, must be fighting. Maybe try adding a hang on holding tank in the water and see what is going on between them. I have a pair of mix matched clowns in the same tank that are fine together. One lives in a Anemone the other leaves it alone. Another option might be to add 2 clowns at the same time and maybe Mama will get confused and frustrated and stop. It worked for Tangs for me. Not sure about clowns.

Ammonia and Nitrites 0
Nitrates between 5 and 10
Originally I had a mocha Ocellaris and a regular ocellaris. The regular was added after the mocha. The mocha died, so I got a new mocha. The new mocha died two days later. All clowns were eating and were hanging around with the other clown
