Clown jumped ship

I have an occ clown that that jumped ship sometime in the last week. He was paired up with my other clown. How would i go about purchasing and picking out a new mate for my current clown, and how common is it for a clown to escape the tank? I found him once in my sump (all the plumbing is closed off so he must have jumped from the tank into the sump)

I'd go with a clown smaller than the one that's left in your tank...that way you're more likely to get a male. If you have a larger clown left, odds are she's a female and if you got another female, one would end up dead.

As to them jumping, I'm not all that familar with clowns jumping out of tanks as ours never have (knock on wood) but you can always put some eggcrate on top if you want. That generally helps
