2 false perc's in a 29 around the same size
one normal, one black

both about a 1" in size, babies....

the normal one was in the tank for about 2 weeks, then was the intro of the black one

wanted a larger black one but the tankmates were less dark, more rust colored, so the one i chose was around the same size, not noticibly smaller

now, the orange one may go and like swim over and bite, and the black one will turn on its side, fins splayed out and shake really fast. The orange one won't do that, it seems to be the aggressor.

what does this shaking mean. and who is likely to become female

btw....the orange one is a more aggressive feeder.they both eat alot.

the one shaking, looks like a siezure? it's the male. it's the males way of giving in, submitting to the female. i had some false percs, that's what they did. traded them for some maroon clowns, and the male does the same thing. as time goes on, you will probably see the female get bigger than the female. in clown pairs, the female is always bigger.
