Hi, I'm just getting started in this hobby and I bought two ocellaris clownfish 6 days ago. When I brought them home I aclimated them for an hour and placed them in my 20 gallon quarantine tank. The tank was cycled for about six weeks with rock and sand. I kept the tank dark that day and fed them the next morning. They both ate very well. I fed them a frozen marine blend from SF, which I thawed in warm tank water. In the evening I fed them a marine pellet. The larger of the two clowns stopped eating yesterday and has a fine string comming from her vent, about a half an inch long. She seems to becomming less active as time goes on. When she stopped eating I thought the water parameters were off but didn't have time to test the water, because of work. I did do a ten percent water change. I checked the water that evening and ammonia was 0, nitrite was 0 and nitrate was 1. Does anybody know what might be wrong.
Thanks
