clown paired up

maybe i am a little obsessive but i have this large Sebae clown in my tank for about a year. i got it as a pair and it started out as a boy. the female jumped out a year ago. my boy looked so sad for the last year. i had been looking high and low everywhere for a small Sebae to pair up. so what happened? i went into Reefshop and there is this little sebae in their tank. took the little guy home and had to figure out how to introduce him nicely to a now very large female sebae. what i did was put him in a small glass jar with holes drilled on top. i put him next to the large leather the female adopted and left him there for about a day. after he got use to his surrounding and the female had a chance to see him, i let him out. what a suprise!....they are now swimming with each other around the adopted leather piece....happy happy joy joy! i will ask paul to take a picture of my tank for you guys....he is good at it....

Thats funny, I did the same with a perc a few days ago, only I used the clear acrylic fish trap.

Both percs are very happy.

I also think my black clown is full of eggs and is clearing a nest.

Do you plan on raising them Paul? My false percs are still laying but I can't see the eggs any more. They went into the center of the rock pile.

I'm curious to know if you still have that mated pair of maroons you got from me. If so, how are they?

do you miss them? they are in my big reef causing terror...i also have the pair of true sebae...by the way...pet co has some sebae anemone for $13...is this unrreal?....but their stock looks pretty bad...disease and dead...i saved the sebae anemone though....likes it better under halide...

Of course I miss them. Are they spawning regularly? I f you remember the first time they spawned for me was the day I sold them to you :-(

did you get back to the hobby?....your old tank was very nice...btw....petco also had a green pollyp leather...it looked really bad under their flourescent...i took it home....lets see how it does...anyone interested...it is pretty rare...one of those Tyree LE things...never understand the cost of those corals

if it is the same we can trade..but if it is different than the one i have i may want to keep it and frag out later....pollyps has not come out yet...but in the store you can tell it is neon green...but not very bright..i think it is because of their lights...my original piece is wicked...
