Clown Question...

Hello guys and gals, I currently have a mated pair of black and white clowns. I bought these from friend and he told me that they were wild. I was told a couple of times from LFS that black and whites will only go to the carpet anemones is this true? I currently have a BTA and they have not went to him yet. I have had them in the tank now for about 3mnts

While a BTA ((Entacmaea quadricolor)) isn't a natural host for an Ocellaris that doesn't mean that they won't be hosted by one in a tank. Back when I had a pair of B&W Ocellaris they were hosted by an LTA -- a non natural host. Sometimes it just takes longer then we would like for clowns to be hosted.

they will go into other anemones too, not only carpets.
